I visited Santa Cruz wharf on the day when the surf was highest in more than 8 years. Took hundreds of shots as the sun was setting, each one with different birds flying past and with different surfers on waves. If you look at the detail, you will see a huge wave crashing on the shore and a surfer riding a wave.
